ACCEDE

Development of a novel boatlanding systems to offshore wind turbine platforms.

Accede Project seeks to develop innovative boat landing systems for offshore wind turbines. The project target two different approaches: (1) The advanced analysis of the interaction fluid-structure that allows the geometric optimization and (2) the use of material specifically selected, comined with coatings capable of reducing the impact of corrosion, fatigue and biofouling on the boatlanding system, increasing the durability the structure.

Thus, the objective is to increase the access ratio introducing the directional variability of the waves, the wind and the tides as a parameter in the geometric definition of them, optimizing the structure through an accurate knowledge of the interaction fluid-structure, increasing the durability of the structure through an innovative selection of materials and coating methods specifically designed for a marine environment.
